What you will do

As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in leading our engineering team to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and drive innovation. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing engineering, from designing and implementing process improvements to ensuring product quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and launch activities.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through continuous evaluation of existing processes and technologies.

  • Drive innovation and implement new technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities and product quality.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Manage capital projects, including equipment purchases and facility expansions, to support business growth and operational needs.

  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve manufacturing issues and improve production performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.

  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and address complex technical challenges.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
