Army Installation Management Command Supervisory Recreation Specialist (Outdoor Recreation) NF-04 in Dugway Proving Ground, Utah

Responsibilities Plans, devises, and administers outdoor recreational activities at a U.S. Army Garrison Area. Maintains an accurate account of daily sales revenue, operational funds, fixed assets, and property. Formulates feeder information for both APF and NAF budgets. Provides guidance and leadership to the various special events and outdoor recreation activities and participants, modifying, adapting, amending, or otherwise changing plans and procedures for such activities as developments require. Ensures that safety orientation is provided regarding specific activities. Develops periodic program plans and annual budget requirements with supporting data for inclusion in overall program plans formulated at higher organizational levels. Supervises personnel assigned to Outdoor Recreation Program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria. Directly related work experience that included the goals, principles, method of techniques of outdoor recreation and understanding the interest of individuals and groups. Planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising or evaluating community, industrial, outdoor, institutional, or other recreational programs. Work experience supervising support staff in outdoor recreation programs. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid. Recruitment or Relocation incentive of up to 15% of the annual salary may be approved with a signed two year service commitment. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
