Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmacovigilance Intern in Duluth, Georgia
Description
Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health is seeking a talented and innovative intern to join the US Pharmacovigilance (PV) team in the Summer of 2025, at either our Duluth, GA US headquarters, or at our facility in St Joseph, Missouri. As an intern, you will learn about the regulatory requirements for reporting adverse events and product quality defects associated with animal health products regulated by the FDA, USDA and EPA and the regulatory requirements associated with the advertisement and promotion of these products. Knowledge will be gained by interacting with PV team members and other key stakeholders, reviewing departmental processes and becoming familiar with product labels on animal health products marketed by Boehringer.

Duties & Responsibilities
Produce a training manual/library structure for the US PV team to be used for onboarding and cross functional training through compilation of existing materials.
Develop basic knowledge of regulatory requirements by participating in team deliverables.
Assist with the streamlining of departmental onboarding processes with AI and automation.
Requirements
Must be an active student in good academic standing
Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
Major or minor in related field of internship
Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Power Point, Word, MS Teams
Strong organization skills
Team player who desires to collaborate with regulatory and cross functional team members
Excellent written and verbal communication
