Actalent Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst in Durham, North Carolina

Description:

The Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring our client's adherence to NERC CIP standards and internal cybersecurity policies at the Remote Operation Center. This position will work closely with the Cybersecurity Compliance Engineers, the Head of Cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to verify that technical controls and processes meet both the letter and spirit of the regulations, and maintain audit-ready documentation and evidence. What you’ll be doing: •Reviewing and analyzing system logs, access records, and other data sources to verify compliance with NERC CIP requirements •Developing and maintaining documentation of compliance policies, procedures, and evidence •Conducting internal audits and assessments to identify potential compliance gaps or areas for improvement •Collaborating with Cybersecurity Compliance Engineers to ensure that technical solutions align with regulatory requirements and interpretations •Preparing and presenting compliance reports and evidence to internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies •Providing guidance and training to employees on NERC CIP compliance policies and procedures What we look for on a resume: •Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field •Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management role, preferably in the energy sector •Deep knowledge of NERC CIP standards and their practical application •Familiarity with other relevant security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and NIST •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail •Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for various audiences •Experience with data analysis and visualization tools a plus • Relevant certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CRISC)
