Our client in the South Metro is seeking new graduates and entry-level candidates to join their Fortune 500 team! The position offers hybrid flexibility, the chance to get your foot in the door with a reputable company, and the chance to convert permanently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.

• Aid in the implementation of financial policies and procedures.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform month-end close procedures.

• Maintain accounting records by making copies and filing documents.

• Execute various financial transactions and post them in the general ledger accounts.

• Analyze financial data to provide accurate and useful information to management.

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

• Support the budget and forecasting processes and contribute to the development of financial strategies.

• Assist the team in other financial and accounting tasks as required.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.

• Fresh graduates or those who have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and procedures.

• Understanding or willingness to learn financial and accounting software applications.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong ability to work in a team environment.

• High level of integrity and dependability.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including advanced Excel skills.
