Michigan State University(MSU) Instructor-Fixed Term in East Lansing, Michigan
Position Summary
Direct an MSU education abroad program in Tokyo, Japan, including but not limited to: establish annual budgets; negotiate and book international facilities including classroom, student lodging, IT use and residential services; marketing and promotion of the program throughout the year through education abroad fairs, information sessions, and individual student contact; admission and enrollment management throughout the academic year; oversee one program assistant to ensure successful execution of all program dimensions; provide direction to students and parents on international travel and safety; orient students to the program, academic requirements, and subject matter background through predeparture, in-country, and post-program sessions; supervise 15-20 undergraduate students while abroad; teach IBUS 393: Introduction to International Business. This program will be taught during the spring 2025 semester.
Position is planned to recur every Spring Semester

Required Degree
Masters -Business Education or related
Minimum Requirements
- 3 years developing and leading undergraduate education abroad programs
- 5 years university teaching
- Extensive knowledge of Tokyo, Japan, and Japanese culture and business environment
- Master's Degree
