Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will bring at least 4 years of public accounting audit experience from a Big 4 or large regional firm. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the leadership team, who are committed to professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

  • Conduct audits and provide recommendations for improving financial processes and controls.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.

  • Coordinate and facilitate external audits and reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.

  • Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and strategic goals.

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for decision-making purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 4 years of public accounting audit experience with a Big 4 or large regional firm.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

  • Proven experience in audit, financial analysis, and internal controls.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
