Duties
- Create detailed-level designs for software development projects and develop complex applications on IBMi Platform (AS/400).
- Perform system study and design for new project development and for existing system enhancement.
- Code, test and debug new or modify existing programs according to specifications and to fulfill production requirements.
- Develop data integration and communication between systems.
- Build systems as per the detail design specification.
- Accomplish programming work on time and ensure project goals are met in accordance with the requirements.
- Develop test plans and scripts for system testing.
- Write technical program specifications, system and user documentation, and instruction manuals.
- Maintain programming standards.
- Provide end user testing, training and end to end (e2e) system integration testing.
- Support implementation of systems into production environment.
- Use expert skills with RPG ILE, SQL, CL, SDA, RLU and Web Technologies.
*Requirements*
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Engineering plus 3 years relevant experience including 3 years of experience in developing complex applications on IBMi Platform (AS/400) and 3 years experience with RPG ILE, SQL, CL, SDA, RLU and Web Technologies.
