Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for an Associate Quality Assurance Specialist in Eau Claire, WI!

Shift: 6:00 am-6:00 pm, 2-2-3 schedule. Training occurs on 1st shift, Monday-Friday.

Job Summary:

The Associate Quality Specialist serves as the primary Quality representative during Business Unit Operational Reviews and drives a robust quality culture within the factory. Responsibilities include overseeing Quality Monitoring Systems, conducting Non-Conformance Investigations, facilitating Continuous Improvement initiatives, and supporting Consumer Feedback Programs. The role also involves training, quality assurance, and compliance with internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Quality Control activities and investigations to address issues affecting Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Provide training to ensure a knowledgeable workforce and maintain a strong quality culture.

• Review and align Quality Monitoring Scheme (QMS) documentation with best practices.

• Act as a liaison for handling deviations, non-conformances, and consumer complaints.

• Support production objectives and enhance operator competence.

• Promote quality awareness and adherence to standards across the unit.

• Update and maintain quality procedures and tools.

• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives to achieve defect reduction.

• Conduct internal audits and assist in external audits readiness.

• Identify non-conformance issues and lead investigations to recommend corrective actions.

• Collaborate on Management of Change (MOC) implementation as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in microbiology, chemistry, or food science preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory or quality control experience.

• Proficiency in quality systems, root cause analysis, and audit processes.
