The Digital Technology Services (DTS) Sr Analytics Translator , you will be involved in leading 1-2 cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric analytics products to deliver business impact. Core member of the Analytics agile squads with end-to-end responsibility for decisions and outcomes related to one or more use cases, with a mission to shape and implement products that transform how analytics is used across the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. Play an important role maintaining relationships with the business units and leading agile teams to develop solutions to address meaningful business problems and opportunities, ensuring both creativity and relevance.

This is a hybrid position with 1 week/month onsite required. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Digital Technology Services (DTS) Sr Analytics Translator at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Own the creation and prioritization of the product backlog for 1-2 end-to-end analytics products / agile squads.

  • Lead cross-functional product teams through the process of clarifying requirements and delivery expectations with business stakeholders.

  • Help product teams deliver products that deliver rapid and regular business value for the client.

  • Determine deployment strategy for products, partnering with colleagues on vital training and change management.

  • Maintain relationships with internal or external customers.

  • Track product specific KPIs once a solution enters production to measure value and communicate regular tracking to stakeholders.

  • Translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their agile squad; maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team.

  • Facilitates release planning with stakeholders as well as weekly demos.

  • Exercise a strong decision making mandate across the team as a proxy to the Senior Product Owner.

  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of strong experience in product development (business or IT).

  • Knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Python).

  • Agile ceremony facilitation familiarity.

  • KPI creation and management.

  • Knowledge of healthcare provider ecosystem.

  • Translation of business requirements to technical.

  • Data analytics.

  • Ability to think critically, build relationship, and work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with the agile work process.

  • A desire to learn and intellectually curious.

  • Have big-picture and detail-oriented thinking, as well as be able to prioritize.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Background that comprises both healthcare provider knowledge as well as expert understanding of high-quality analytics product delivery.
