Eaton Electrical is currently seeking a ACE Aftermarket Operations Manager to join our team. This position is based at Kitchener, ON or Edmonton, AB.
The ACE Aftermarket Operations Manager manages two Canadian ACE Facilities, Kitchener & Edmonton, plus future inside NegApps specialist(s), with an emphasis on driving and growing the business while developing the people and processes to safely support continuous growth.

You will be managing the daily scheduling of production personnel to ensure proper staffing to plan and direct the manufacturing of orders in the most productive and cost-effective manner.
You will establish pricing and quotes for customers. Conduct sales calls with sales personnel to promote plant products and services.
You will develop and maintain a full understanding of applicable standards relating to the application of products reconditioned and ensure proper testing is performed as required.
You will maintain high levels of quality in assigned areas of functional responsibilities. Coordinate warranty repair as needed, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
You will handle recruitment and training of production employees. Provide training, instruction and guidance to direct reports; remain knowledgeable of required personnel-related policies and procedures of the company.
You will manage review process for production employees, including performance reviews, coaching, and developing of direct reports.
You will be responsible for safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations for Ontario and Alberta.
You will be responsible for maintenance of warehouse and parts cleaning equipment, providing both preventative maintenance programs and all necessary repairs. Ensures that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment to perform their functions and that they comply with all safety procedures and work rules.
You will guide and oversee work operations to respond positively to unusual situations, changes, material shortages and varying manpower requirements.
You will work closely with company Operational Excellence personnel and teams to ensure the continuing application of quality standards and work processes.
You will recommend measures to improve production processes and machine performance as part of the continuous improvement process efforts.
Required (Basic) Qualifications
Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Business from an accredited institution is required.
Minimum 5 years of Operations or Engineering experience is required.
Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 80km of Kitchener, ON or Edmonton, AB will be considered for this position
Minimum 1 year of Engineering experience
Minimum 1 years of strong supervisory experience
Knowledge and experience in Quality Systems, as well as ISO 9001.2000
Ability to manage people and handle confidential information.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Ability to motivate and train employees, as well as promote and maintain employee morale, cooperation, and productivity among subordinate personnel.
Ability to plan and schedule departmental workloads to support the manufacturing and financial objectives of the company
