QUALITY
Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System
Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement
Design and develop manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems at the plant level to improve process capability, quality and manufacturing readiness
OPERATIONS
Effectively manage cross functional manufacturing teams to support effective use of manpower, materials, and equipment, as well as productivity and quality improvement initiatives
Responsible for implementing the strategy and long-term planning of the facility’s operations to ensure continued success in meeting customer expectations
Interface with Company engineers, strategic sourcing, project management, human resources, logistics, customer service, and accounting personnel regarding facility issues, process optimization, methods development, personnel development, outside supplier development, strategic project implementation, quotes and order management, and for analyzing and preparing monthly financial reporting presentations
A Lean Manufacturing expert able to demonstrate success working with disciplines of Daily Management, Kaizen, Tact Time/Cycle Time analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Waste Elimination, Gemba Walks, Visual Management and other relevant Lean tactics to drive plant performance success
Develop processes and systems and implement across functional teams to drive improvements to Plant KPI’s such as productivity, job cost variance, purchase price variance, gross expense reduction, OTD, general cost reduction and inventory management, including evaluating and maintaining appropriate levels of inventory while responsible for on-time shipment
Support the implementation and sustaining efforts to promote and execute new techniques and products, purchase and use of new machinery or equipment and optimize staff levels
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
COMMUNICATION
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports
Collaborate with Engineering department to ensure all items (upper level and sub levels) of BOM are entered into Windchill
Collaborate with Purchasing, Category Management and Mfg to simulate and assign the manufacturing COGS to parts/product
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop, innovate and implement manufacturing technology best practices
FINANCIAL
All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses
Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure
Prepare feasibility studies and thorough cost justification for projects
Monitor production output and collaborate to implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Assign projects and priorities to reports based on production requirements

EXPEREINCE & EDUCATION
REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent to 10+ years of experience related to manufacturing, particularly in oilfield applications
5-8 years min experience in a manufacturing setting with hands on involvement in leading productivity improvement via setup reduction, tooling improvements, etc.
Demonstrated understanding and experience with hands-on Lean Manufacturing which has resulted in driving positive plant performance and financial improvements
Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with multiple direct reports
Legally authorized to work in assigned location
Ability to interact in English
Proficient in MS Office suite
PREFERRED
Strong understanding and experience in the oil & gas industry
Experience working in a multi-product line manufacturing plant serving international customers
Strong background in machining and/or assembly processes for bills of material > 2 lines
Ability to interact in language relevant in local plant

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
