A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking an Air Traffic Control Specialist to join our team in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This position is responsible for providing Air Traffic Control expertise on the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) program. Applicable functional areas include proficiency and knowledge of test plans, test procedures, test reports and execution of tests in the lab environment. Qualified candidates will need to interface with other FAA organizations including site personnel.Essential Job Functions: Provide Air Traffic Control experience for the FAA’s Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) program with the ability to develop and execute test plans/procedures and reports.Demonstrate initiative, customer orientation and teamwork competencies.Able to work independently under general guidelines and objectives.Limited (25% or less) travel to locations throughout the US.Desk/lab located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Required:Technical Tester with experience on one of the following NAS programs: STARS, Time Based Flow Management System (TFMS) or Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM).Ability to develop test plans, test procedures and test reports.Ability to execute test procedures in the lab environment.Ability to work individually and within a group/team.Ability to take direction and initiative; ability to provide direction and training.Ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical people.US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required.Upon conditional offer of employment candidates will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.Verification of past employment, verification of education and references are also required.Preferred:Technical Tester with the required knowledge plus experience in STARS/NAS and Test.Education:High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 17 years of NAS related experience is required, with a minimum of 12 of those years as a Certified Professional Air Traffic Controller (CPC) in a civilian or military En Route, Oceanic or Terminal Air Traffic Control facility.A3T is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) employer.
