ITW QA/QC Technician in El Dorado Hills, California

Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday; 8:00am-4:30pm (hours can be flexible)

Pay Range: $22.80-26.85 + 10% Shift Differential (DOE)

General Responsibilities:

  • Perform outgoing product final inspection and create outgoing Certificate of Assurance (CoA)/Certificate of Compliance (CoC) paperwork.

  • Perform internal process and quality audits and assist in maintaining internal controls from raw materials to final product shipping.

  • Perform incoming raw material quality inspections to ensure conformance.

  • Assist on maintaining document control procedures/specification for internal use and ISO9001:2015 Certification.

  • Assist on reviewing data and creating disposition for non-conformances on incoming/outgoing materials.

  • Releasing lots to conversion area after reviewing physical/dimensional properties per customer specifications.

  • Perform periodic updates to SPC Control Charts for each brush formulation and manufactured part.

  • Perform statistical analysis to process/product measurable and formulate an action plan based on the result.

  • Attend internal/external quality review meetings with key customers.

  • Assist internal teams to meet quality objectives that have been set forth from executive management,

  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports of key activities, requirements and progress on goals.

  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or general education degree (GED).

  • 1-5 years’ experience in quality control/assurance or related technical field.

  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with process technicians, engineers, and management and with external customers.

  • High level of attention to detail.

  • Strong computer skills (especially MS Power point, Excel, JMP, Minitab, or other statistical software).

  • Experience with Design of Experiment (DoE) Software to execute required process investigations.

  • Experience with Enterprise SPC Software (Infinity QS, etc.).

Work Conditions:

  • Working within manufacturing and clean room environment.

  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), consisting of goggles, gloves, face shield, and respirator, as needed.

  • Hazardous chemicals handling.

  • Computer use.

  • Various analytical equipment and tools.
