Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler

Job Description

We are searching for the right person to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company as a Warehouse Associate. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment

• Fulfill product order invoices

• Unload material from incoming trucks

• Load products onto delivery trucks for shipping

• Assist with maintaining equipment, including cleaning out production equipment and lines

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Essential Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Basic math skills

• Regularly required to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods of time

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with computer and inventory software preferred

• Experience with forklift, packing, material handling, inventory, packaging, pick, loading, order picking, and sit-down forklift

• Must be willing to clean areas and help out in various tasks

• Ability to read skews and work orders accurately

Work Environment

Warehouse production environment. Exposure to heat and cold, along with humid conditions and dust. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, between 6 am and 5 pm, with a minimum of 42.5 hours per week and additional overtime as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of El Dorado, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $37440.00/hr.
