Job Title: Material Handler - Consumer and Irrigation Distribution Center

Location: El Paso, TX

Shift: 1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30

Pay: $12.50

Job Description:

Adecco is currently hiring Material Handlers for a Consumer and Irrigation Distribution Center in El Paso, TX. In this role, you will work under the direction of the Distribution Center Supervisor and be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling of materials to support the operations of the center.

As a Material Handler, your duties will include:

• Receiving: Unloading trailers promptly and accurately, verifying loads against records (e.g., manifests, invoices, and packing lists) for accuracy.

• Material Handling: Operating a sit-down forklift, push/pull equipment, and clamp truck to move materials within the warehouse.

• RF Scanning: Using RF Scanners to track and update inventory, ensuring data accuracy in real-time.

• Shipping Fulfillment: Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, including Full Truck Load (FTL), Less Than Truck Load (LTL), and small packages.

• Documentation: Ensuring proper documentation is completed for all materials received and shipped, including scanning, labeling, and maintaining accurate records.

• General Warehouse Labor: Assisting with warehouse upkeep, including cleaning and organizing the workspace.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating sit-down forklifts, push/pull, and clamp trucks.

• Experience using RF scanners for inventory management.

• Basic knowledge of inventory management principles, including receiving, transferring, weighing, and counting materials.

• Ability to read and follow work orders or oral instructions to move materials.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties.

• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to adjust working hours and shifts based on business needs.

Pay Details: $12.50 per hour
