Job Description

Big picture, you will work with teams in developing and implementing strategies that solve clients' problems and inspire new ideas and work that gets people excited. You will be asked to challenge and elevate strategic thinking so that we're always delivering bold and innovative thinking.

Success for this position is measured in the ability to partner with teams within the agency to develop strategies that inspire ideas and work that is contextually relevant across all media along the consumer journey, along with highly targeted, data-informed content. And you must bring our clients along on this ride.

Communications Planner will be able to lead the process to get to innovative go-to-market plans for clients, as well as work well with the strategic planning team, other internal teams (creative, media, IM) and clients.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Combine creativity and effectiveness through strong understanding of audiences, touchpoints and media thinking across paid, owned, earned, and shared channels

  • Inspire provocative ways for our brands to show up in the world and to capture consumer attention

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our business in order to facilitate the most effective communications solutions i.e., key barriers, marketing challenges, objectives and strategies, competitive pressures, etc

  • Craft consumer journeys that demonstrate a thorough knowledge of how our audience spends their time and where we can add value

  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure we're using all of our channels and communication tools to the best of our ability

Qualifications

  • 3 -5 years' experience in communications planning, media strategy or similar role at a creatively led organization (agency or brand experience acceptable)

  • Passionate about the ever-changing world of media and able to help solve business problems in a way that straddles the twin pillars of effectiveness and impact

  • A champion of great creative work and an ally to your creative teams. Helping keep everyone inspired & informed about the media & cultural landscape

  • Forever curious about what is happening in the world our brands, and our audiences, live in

  • Able to work in a fast paced, highly competitive, and constantly evolving category

  • Results oriented with outstanding organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills

Compensation Range: $85,000 - $100,000.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
