Akebono Brake Corporation Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift in Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Job Summary
Lead and coordinate activities in the maintenance department to meet organizational objectives in equipment uptime, process improvement, productivity, employee relations, safety, quality, and maintenance costs.
Essential Functions
• Proficient in such skilled maintenance activities as: electrical, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, welding, carpentry, pneumatics, mechanical or machining type work .
• Operates machine tools, hand tools, various test equipment as well as other type of maintenance equipment.
• Coordinates maintenance activities .
• Interprets diagrams, specifications and drawings .
• Performs all work in compliance with applicable codes and safety regulations .
• Assigns and coordinates Support Associates (Maintenance ).
• Assist in development, implementation and revision of Preventative Maintenance Program .
• Maintain inventory and records of maintenance supplies and equipment .
• Responsible for maintenance budget.
• Monitor and track downtime .
Supplemental Functions
• Responsible for accurate recording of SPC information where required .
• Will fill-in for Support Associates (Maintenance ).
• Will also perform other duties as assigned .
• Supports ABE's Quality System and Loss Control/Safety Programs through active involvement .
• Oversee performance reviews.
