Mold Setup

Adecco is assisting a local business in recruiting for a current Mold Setup opening in Elizabethtown, NC. This is for a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Description & Requirements

Description

· Setup molds per manufacturing requirements.

· Load material and clean hoppers.

· Mount and clamps tools in machine.

· Keep work area equipment clean and in accurate working conditions.

· Work in tandem with peers to achieve setup time targets.

· Obtain proper mold book and gauges for designated mold job.

· Perform minor repairs on setup as advised.

· Works with Maintenance Technicians to assure maximum machine up-time.

· Performs all other tasks assigned by team leader as necessary.

Requirements

Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Technical associate degree preferred.

Job-Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

· 2-5 years experience in injection molding and set up experience preferred

· Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices,and procedures of injection molding and troubleshooting.

· Ability to work from drawings, sketches, and process sheets.

· Blueprint reading.

· Ability to use specifications, charts, and tables.

· Proven understanding of machine capacities of injection molding machines.

· Strong problem-solving abilities.

· Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Pay for this position is $15-$20 an hour

Pay Details: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour
