Job Title: Slitting Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Slitting Machine Operator, where you will be responsible for setting up and operating Cutting & Roll Wrapping Machines. Your duties will include cutting cores to size for the slitter, weighing plastic rolls, labeling, and palletizing rolls for delivery to the finished goods area. You will conduct final inspections of rolls and report any unsafe acts or conditions immediately. This role requires repetitive motions and lifting up to 30-50 lbs.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 480 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Work Environment

Our 500,000 sqft facility prioritizes safety and cleanliness. It is extremely well-organized and adheres to GMP standards. Safety gear such as shoes, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses are mandatory. Our facility includes departments like Print, Lamination, Slitting, Warehouse, and Maintenance, backed by a strong, tenured workforce. We are continuously improving with recent and planned investments in new machinery.
