Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to handle preventative and reactive maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing 480v

3-phase systems, reading schematics and ladder logic, and making minor adjustments to PLCs. The equipment you will work with includes hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, electrical components/boards, CNC machinery, saws, wrappers, and presses. Candidates must be comfortable working in dusty environments and should be self-motivated. Weekend work and overtime may be required as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair 480v 3-phase systems.

• Read and interpret schematics and ladder logic.

• Make minor adjustments to PLCs.

• Work with equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, electrical components/boards, CNC machinery, saws, wrappers, and presses.

• Be comfortable working in dusty environments.

• Work weekends and overtime as needed.

Essential Skills

• Multi-craft industrial maintenance experience up to 480v 3-phase.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.

• PLC troubleshooting experience, including reading and interpreting ladder logic, checking inputs, outputs, and faults.

Work Environment

The facility has a dusty environment and smells like wood, as it manufactures interior flat laminated panels and wrapped moldings for the manufactured housing and RV industries. There are wood, metals, and plastics groups, and candidates will be offered positions where it makes the most sense for them. Some small travel between sister plants may be needed on occasion. The approximate work hours are from 3pm to 11pm or 3am, averaging 50-60 hours per week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Elkhart, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00

-PTO - Maintenance typically gets 80hrs/2wks up front (Standard is 1wk after 1yr & 2wks after 2yrs)
