Dates of Need: 9/1/2024-5/1/2025. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery; Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production; Drive trucks to haul bees produced by our farm to winter facilities; Load and unload containers using forklifts; check equipment to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain a drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farms operation.
