Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Encino, California. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing general accounting tasks, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. Your tasks will involve analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accounting records and files

• Post journal entries and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Conduct regular ledger reconciliations

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes by processing invoices, payments, and expense reports

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations

• Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and relevant regulations

• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations

• Utilize skills in 'Accounts Payable (AP)', 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'Bank Reconciliations', 'General Ledger', 'Journal Entries', 'Month End Close'. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries

• Knowledge and experience in Month End Close procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

• Knowledge of accounting software and systems

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
