Employees in this position will help to support and at times lead the administration of the facility's work order process through interfacing with the company's Equipment and Asset Management (EAM) software along with departmental and plant personnel.

  • Create, post, and maintain all maintenance work orders

  • Prepare the Maintenance backlog sheet for the daily meeting using input from EAM.

  • Audit completed work orders through verifying labor hours are present and that hand-written comments and parts fields match the scope of work as defined by the printed Work Order Comments and Work Order Description

  • Generate preventive maintenance work orders and deliver work orders to “Assigned to” personnel.

  • Responsible for continuous improvement of Asset database which includes equipment comments and all detail fields in Asset Record View, development of Asset/Part associations, and creation/edits of preventative maintenance tasks as needed.

  • Responsible for development and continuous improvement of Parts database which includes adding new parts, updating old parts, and keeping the vendor managed Inventory and Critical spares lists up-to-date and developing Manufacturer/Vendor records in EAM.

  • Responsible for user set-up which involves the creation of new work requesters and resetting passwords per request.

  • Train and support others as needed in the use of EAM as the facility’s Asset Management System.

  • Responsible for maintenance documentation, the development of the electronic document library in Infor EAM, creation of Maintenance files for new projects and linking contractor reports to work orders.

  • Maintain contractor safety agreements and insurance documents.

  • Calibration Workflow by generating GAGEtrak calibration schedules/report and distributing them and coordinating external calibrations.

  • Purchase parts, supplies, and contractor services as needed using purchase requisitions in SAP and a company P-card and/or Ariba system.

    REQUIRED:

  • Ability to complete the job following all policies or procedures regarding safety, waste handling, and environmental regulations without direct threat or significant risk to the health, safety or environment.

  • Successful candidates will work in a team environment and possess the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.

  • Prior demonstrated computer literacy including the Microsoft Suite.

  • The ability to understand technical information including equipment manuals and process operating procedures and proven experience contributing to a team based manufacturing environment.

  • Associate's degree in related discipline OR 2 years relevant work experience

    PREFERRED:

  • Past experience working with Equipment & Asset Management (EAM) software.

  • Familiarity with preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
