Who will you be working with?

The NPI Sourcing Team provides procurement leadership for key Customer Programs from Commercial proposal through Supply Chain execution and delivery. The team works cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Fulfillment, and the Operational Excellence Team to ensure that sourced components meet program deliverables related to cost, quality and delivery.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the NPI Sourcing Process Team, you will be responsible for driving activities that improve NPI part procurement velocity. This includes leading projects that remove barriers to timely material procurement and engaging with Buyers and Program Leaders to positively impact key NPI Sourcing Metrics.

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing/supply chain

Desired Characteristics

• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP system

• Experience in Fulfillment/Sourcing

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and expertise in Excel and Access

• Effective oral and written communication

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Self-directed, able to independently develop/execute action plans.

• Outstanding project management skills.

What will your typical day look like?

• Analyze NPI Sourcing aging metrics data and identify trends and emerging issues that are negatively impacting the team’s ability to achieve process cycle time goals.

• Lead efforts to eliminate identified issues and reverse negative trends.

• Working with Fulfillment and Material Process Leaders, identify projects and own execution that increases part procurement velocity.

• Provide NTI program specific part procurement support as required.

• Analyze ePromise data and identify opportunities to improve both suppliers promise timeliness and accuracy while leading projects to positively impact component on time delivery.
