Job Description:

Sr. Data Architect , Archer Daniels Midland Company, Decatur, IL. Deliver data management and integration solutions for enterprise data projects. Deliver data architecture solutions and all associated deliverables. Provide technical direction to assigned data modelers and database administrators. Accountable for the quality of all data architecture deliverables. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of enterprise data warehouse solutions. Document systems through data models, data definitions and naming conventions. Provide fit-gap recommendations during designing solutions for new requirements. Develop unique solutions addressing user data challenges and assist with developing enterprise roadmaps to enhance capabilities. Communicate with business stakeholders and senior management regarding data needs and capture data requirements.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, or a related field, and seven (7) years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience.

Must have seven (7) years of experience with/in:

• Applying data management principles and industry standards to design, build and maintain complex data model assets in Transactional/Operational, ODS, Data Warehouse, and Data Marts applications;

• Working knowledge with the following technologies: Microsoft applications (e.g., Synapse Analytics, SQL Server Managed Instances, or ADLS), Denodo, Qlik (e.g., Replicate or Compose), SAP S/4, and ER/Studio or similar data modeling tools;

• Dimensional and normalize data architecture design principles;

• BI architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data integration best practices;

• Navigating complex multi-dimensional source data business systems;

• Data Analysis and mapping, creation, and usage of metadata;

• Delivering solutions using Agile and Iterative methodologies; and

• Metadata management discipline and best practices.

Up to 5% domestic travel required.

100% Telecommuting Permitted
