In our state-of-the-art Corteva Agrisciene Research Centre Eschbach, Germany, we are looking for motivated students who can work in our laboratories and the greenhouse for the period of two months. During this period, the students will be trained in the Insect and Nematode Management Laboratory on tasks such as:

  • Maintenance of the insect and nematode cultures

  • Working in-vitro under clean bench

  • Potting, soil preparation

  • Cleaning of the laboratory and greenhouse

  • Maintenance of the greenhouse (watering the plants and plant care)

  • Autoclaving soil and preparation for the experiments

  • Experiments with insects and nematodes

  • Preparing the laboratory for the exhibition when visitors come

  • Microscopy - symptomatology of insects and nematodes after treatment with plant protection product

Qualifications

This is a hands-on position requiring excellent knowledge of agriculture and fluency in English, the working language in our Research center. Further prerequisites are a being enrolled in a recognized university and having valid work permit / visa for Germany.
