New Dimensions Job Coach in Essexville, Michigan
This key position helps individuals participate more fully in their community by providing support, training, and guidance in community living skills. Our programs serve adults with developmental disabilities or mental illness as they participate in community activities, transition into jobs in the community, receive on-the-job training, or volunteer at local non-profits. Job Coaches advocate for the individuals in our programs by following his or her vocational plan, and assure that service is provided in a way that maintains each individual's safety, dignity, privacy, and respect. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, but to qualify candidates must:
- Have a High School diploma or GED
- Be able to pass a criminal background check with no felonies
- Be able to pass new hire and random drug tests
- Have a valid Michigan driver license with good driving record
- Recipient Rights Background Check
- Be available nights and weekends as needed
Additional $5.20 per hour crisis pay included in above hourly wage. Base pay rate is $11.65 - $12.65.
