Job Summary

  • The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment as directed by physicians to perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate’s degree is required.

License/Certification/Registration

  • A.R.R.T. or ARDMS registration

  • BLS is required within six months of employment.

  • Completion of the Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.

Work Schedule

  • Day Shift; 48 hours every 2 weeks

  • 8 or 9 hour shifts

  • Weekend Rotation (Catch Call)

  • Holiday Rotation (Catch Call)

  • Call Time (Catch Call: Never scheduled on call, never mandated to come in. 45 min call back time with call back pay and bonus if US tech does come in and perform emergent US. If emergent US needed staff will started calling US techs to see if anyone is available to come in and if can't come in or no answer they move on to the next US tech. There are only certain US sounds exams that can be considered emergent that providers must follow prior to using the catch call for US techs)​​​​​​​

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $30.25 - $45.75
