We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team! This position will be focused on testing new custom software and upgrades of legacy applications for external clients. This QA Engineer will be joining a professional services team which values collaboration and communication, pays attention to detail, and has a consultative mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed defect tickets upon discovery
- Communicate status to project team members
- Develop testing strategies across a wide variety of web and mobile applications
- Create test plans and steps (manual and automated)
- Implement and execute test plans and scripts (manual and automated)
- Identify test automation tools
- Identify browsers (including versions) and hardware devices to be supported and coordinate device acquisition with project manager or director
- Participate in story refinement and definition of acceptance criteria with project team members
- Estimate testing effort based on requirements
- Support end-users during User Acceptance Testing
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for various software applications
- Recommend and execute continuous improvement initiatives related to the Quality Assurance process
