What You Will Do:

  • You'll drive program deliveries for both sustaining and new production projects, ensuring every detail is finely tuned for your success.

  • As a leader, you'll guide a dynamic team of experts across various functions, ensuring tasks are defined, resources allocated, and project specifications met.

  • You'll collaborate with a diverse range of professionals to innovate and enhance product offerings, shaping the future of our industry.

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, you'll work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve your strategic goals.

  • Spearheading small to medium projects with autonomy, you'll take charge from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met with precision.

  • You'll contribute to the strategic vision and positioning of our product suite, shaping its trajectory in the market.

  • By analyzing data rigorously, you'll monitor programs to maintain adherence to scope, cost, schedule, and technical standards.

  • Supporting seamless workflow, you'll manage Problem Reports and Engineering Change Notices, ensuring swift resolution.

  • Travel up to 10% both domestic and international. Destinations depend on customer, but may include Illinois, Texas, EMEA and APAC.

What You Will Learn:

  • You'll master the art of analyzing data and monitoring programs, ensuring they align with scope, cost, schedule, and technical specifications.

  • You'll develop, maintain, and present plans and progress reports to executive leadership and stakeholders, keeping everyone informed and aligned.

  • You'll drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead CORE projects, optimizing efficiency and quality across the board.

  • You'll proactively identify and address risks, using critical thinking, creativity, and innovation to ensure successful project completion, all while identifying opportunities to increase company revenues and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Project (or similar integrated project scheduling software) and experience in MS Excel.

  • Change management experience

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Program management experience, adept in handling cost, quality, and schedule while leading cross-functional teams.

  • Customer-facing experience as a project/program manager.

  • Previous engagement with operations/manufacturing engineering in the aerospace industry.

  • Experience with dependencies and critical path analysis in scheduling software.

  • PMP Certification

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
