Boeing is seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Manager for our Facilities Maintenance Center of Expertise (CoE) supporting our Everett and Renton Washington sites.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite, and will support both the Renton and Everett, Washington sites. It will also require occasional travel to visit the other Puget Sound locations, as well as other Boeing sites around the domestic United States.

This position within our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization will be responsible for all aspects of Facilities Management, to include managing a cross-functional team of maintenance crafts and technicians and partnering with vended services. You will ensure enterprise standards are followed, financial accountability of the budget & effective processes are used to deliver service. Collaboration in strategic and operational planning with our executive team and supplier partners, as well as operational leadership and management will be critical to your success.

The GREF organization supports the company’s large domestic and international footprint as part of Boeing's Enterprise Services function, which also includes Indirect Supply Chain, Executive Flight Operations, and Executive Protection. You will lead and execute facilities management (FM) objectives end-to-end; from development, stakeholder alignment, work execution management, communication, to ensuring lasting sustainment of change and improvements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Specific services include management of facilities maintenance teams, both internal and supplier based; lead/support business partners, engineering & project management teams as well as asset renewal strategy efforts, transportation related services, surplus sales and other regional activities

  • Manage and lead diverse teams, managers, initiatives, and projects that support significant change and/or improvements

  • Drive and influence change; demonstrate leading through influence; continue to instill a safety and quality focused mindset in everything we do

  • Lead, motivate, and support teams and managers in conflict management, collaboration, developing talent & holding candid conversations

  • Responsible for the related facilities budgets at all regional locations

  • Build relationships and collaborate with other regional FM senior leaders, multiple Business Partners and other service groups while demonstrating the ability to quickly learn

This role will involve up to 10% domestic travel.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton, Washington and Everett, Washington.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience leading a facilities maintenance team

  • 5+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years of experience in teaching, coaching and developing others

  • Experience developing and managing budgets

Desired Qualifications (Preferred Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., facilities management, engineering, construction Management)

  • 5+ years of related technical experience or skilled trade school certification/experience

  • 10+ years of experience managing metrics to drive data solutions/decisions

  • Experience with vendor and supplier management

  • Experience working in an industry CoE (Center of Expertise/Excellence) structure

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business consideration.

Summary pay range: $171,700 - $232,200
