Personnel Plus Employment Agency Paramedic Specialist (PS) in Fairbanks, Alaska
We are staffing for a variety of fly-in/fly-out remote medical/industrial paramedic positions within rural Alaska in support of oil/gas and mining operations. Paramedics will be in very remote/isolated locations providing urgent and emergent care to injured/ill workforce as well as occupational medical care to on-site employees. Casual and regular rotations (2/2 or 3/3) available. Shifts are 12 hours. Employees are responsible for travel to/from home state to Anchorage, Alaska. Employer provides transportation from Anchorage, AK to work site in North Slope, AK. All meals and lodging are included during your weeks on the job. Remote Medics will assess, treat, and coordinate transport for patients to higher-level medical providers, commonly in the form of a clinic or hospital. Invasive care may include advanced airways, IV therapy, medications, and defibrillation. The workforce consists of contractor employees and operates from base or field camps. Ancillary duties as assigned. Qualifications
- Must have Alaska Paramedic license or willing to obtain
- Current CPR and ACLS
- 3-5 years remote and/or emergency response experience
