In this pivotal leadership position, you will play a central role in defining the strategic direction of our technology and product landscape. Beyond technical proficiency, this multifaceted role entails expertise in data management, development, product strategy, and collaborative engagement with key stakeholders across Content, Audience, Sales, and Operations. We are in search of an enthusiastic leader who aligns with our mission and possesses a diverse skill set. Responsibilities will span from strategic planning to a comprehensive understanding of our tech stack, including the ability to evaluate and integrate vendors to facilitate audience expansion and revenue enhancement. While direct oversight of product strategy is not within the purview of this role, you will spearhead the evolution of our tech infrastructure, collaborating closely with the leadership team to address various business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership (30%): Lead the strategic planning of the technology and product ecosystem, encompassing content management, subscription management, data management and sales fulfillment. Drive the globalization and standardization of product related technical and organizational success. Executes projects and make decisions that broadly impact long-term competitiveness and financial success. Leads projects/initiatives using significant conceptualization, reasoning and interpretation. Operates with complete latitude within area of professional expertise. Data Architecture: (20%) Responsible for effective data management, data warehousing, ensuring the integrity, security, and accessibility of our data assets. Collaborate with relevant teams to establish and maintain robust data management practices. Aligning data from multiple sources to feed a decentralized responsibility for insights and analysis of analytics for audience, subscribers, advertising, and revenue. Product Development (30%): Defines and drives execution of business critical product lines. Own the product roadmap. Partner with stakeholders to identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to inform priorities. Formulates understanding of problems by customer and through assessment of competitive landscape. Assess product performance against KPIs and drive course corrections, end-of-life or related decisions. Develops, recommends and supports implementation of functional, operational and/or procedural changes. Strong technical background with direct experience in coding and familiarity with modern technology stacks. Stakeholder Collaboration (20%): Engages with leadership to help establish business objectives and determine operational priorities. Evaluates, recommends and pursues initiatives/opportunities with significant impact on organizational success. Partners with others to articulate forward looking awareness. Regularly contributes in establishing functional goals and teams direction, working directly with senior leadership, functional/technical authorities and business leaders Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a history of building strong partnerships with stakeholders. Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and lead cross-functional teams effectively. Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science or a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field.
