Company in Fairburn looking for Production/Assembly associates on a first shift temp to hire opportunities. Job duties include; Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.  High School diploma or equivalent education experience.  Ability to pass a skills assessment within first 30 days of employment which includes but is not limited to- proficiency with hand tools (tape measure, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, cable cutters, PEX cutters, PVC cutters). Proficiency with powered tools (Drills, Impact drivers, reciprocating saws, circular saws, miter saws, chop saws, powered cable/PEX/PVC cutting tools, PEX expander tools, etc).  Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.  Ability to perform repetitive actions with hand and/or tools.  Ability to stand for long periods throughout a 10-hour shift.

salary: $17 - $18 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 4:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

The completion of quality assembly operations within a standardized time.

 Embraces a safety-first mindset and immediately reports issues to supervisor and/or safety team.

 Maintains proper PPE that is required in the facility or while performing certain tasks.

 Audits workstation to ensure all necessary tools supplies are in place to begin shift.

 Monitoring supply levels within the workstation/area and supporting reordering when stock is low.

 Identifies and processes of non-conforming and scrap material.

 The care and proper use of tools within the manufacturing facility.

 Attends all required training pertaining to job function.

 Communicates with Team Lead/ Operations Leader/ Group Leader to resolve production flow,

quality assurance, and inventory issues.

 Support other areas and follow job rotations as necessary.

 Cleaning of work area and supporting workplace organization initiatives.

The essential functions of this role include:
