Job Description: Temporary PhlebotomistPosition: Temporary PhlebotomistLocations:Fairfield, CA 94535Vallejo, CA 94592Martinez, CA 94553Job Type: Temporary, Full-TimeEmployer: Corporate Hiring Solutions Inc.Overview:Corporate Hiring Solutions Inc. is seeking a Temporary Phlebotomist to provide on-site phlebotomy services on an as-needed basis. The Phlebotomist will perform venipunctures and other specimen collection procedures, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of samples.Key Responsibilities:Patient Identification:Verify patient identification by confirming two patient identifiers (name, date of birth, and/or social security number) before collecting or accepting specimens.Specimen Collection:Perform venipunctures following published laboratory procedures.Collect adequate and properly labeled specimens for testing.Specimen Processing:Process specimens for testing and/or shipment to other laboratories.Ensure proper documentation and labeling of all specimens.Computer Operations:Determine current clinician orders in the computer as per laboratory procedures.Maintain accurate and timely electronic records of specimen collection and processing.Patient Interaction:Communicate with patients, relatives, staff members, and coworkers in a compassionate and professional manner.Promote a harmonious and cooperative working environment.Quality Control:Perform waived and/or non-waived testing as required.Ensure compliance with VANCHCS quality assurance standards and procedures.Qualifications:Certification:Must hold and maintain a current certificate by the State of California as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician.Experience:Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience performing venipunctures in a clinic or hospital setting.Health Requirements:Provide proof of tuberculosis testing, rubella testing, and immunizations within one year before starting work.No health or physical disability restrictions that interfere with job performance.Skills:Strong organizational and observational skills.Ability to follow directions and prioritize patient care needs.Computer literacy and ability to use technology efficiently.Other Requirements:Adherence to the dress code; a lab coat will be provided and laundered by the organization.Maintain validated competencies and training records, including HIPAA.Working Hours:Regular hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding federal holidays.No more than 40 hours per week.Salary:Fairfield, CA 94535: Certified Phlebotomist $30/hourVallejo, CA 94592: Certified Phlebotomist $30/hourMartinez, CA 94553: Certified Phlebotomist $29/hourReports To:Laboratory Supervisor or designee.If you meet the qualifications and are committed to providing high-quality care, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity to serve our veterans.For inquiries or to apply, please contact:Corporate Hiring Solutions Inc.Phone: +1 (631) 560-2838Website: www.Cohires.comEmail: adminteam@cohires.comAddress: 34 East Main Street, Unit 394, Smithtown, NY 11787
