The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work out of their home office but must reside within 100 miles of Cleveland, OH or Columbus, OH and must be able to travel throughout the state about 50% of the time and to the office as requested. Expenses and mileage reimbursed based on travel requirements. What you will be doing: As a Title Agent, you will be responsible for searching real estate records, both online and in county courthouses. The selected candidate will pull deeds, mortgages, contracts, easements, tax cards, plats, and other instruments required to complete a title search. Agent will compile information into a client provided Title Report while ensuring accuracy of title information. We are looking for someone who: Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Has a responsible and organized approach to work. Is a problem solver with attention to detail. Has a sense of urgency. Is comfortable using a variety of different technologies in order to research and complete title work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. The employee is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This role requires the employee to occasionally travel to meet with clients or vendors which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations.
