Family Service Association - Fall River Medical Billing Specialist in Fall River, Massachusetts
Family Service Association is seeking to hiring a temporary full time (35 hours per week) Medical Billing Specialist. Hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Temporary Medical Billing Assistant is directly responsible for researching accounts receivable.
Duties and Responsibilities : .
Researching denied claims.
Determine if a denial can be rebilled and if so send rebill to appropriate insurance company.
Work aged receivables report to identify claims that need to be appealed or written off.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of High School Diploma is required.
Strong computer skills required.
**Experience with billing and/or electronic medical records preferred.
