Link Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator to join our team in Fargo, ND. 

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • DoD Secret or TS Security Clearance

  • Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

The Network Administrator at the Air National Guard’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operations Center provides technical and system administration support. Working under general direction, the Network Administrator employs current information security technology disciplines and practices to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of government information assets.

Responsibilities include managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure the security of sensitive data. At Link Solutions, you’ll contribute to national security while engaging in innovative projects that foster professional growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, administer, and maintain voice, video, and/or data communications networks.

  • Manage the usage and performance of voice, video, and/or data communications networks.

  • Maintain network security and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

  • Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and related equipment.

  • Participate in and may lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades.

  • Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.

  • Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.

  • Provide advice and training to end-users.

  • Offer local on-call/call-back touch labor support.

  • Manage the network components of a global information system.

  • Patch/upgrade firmware, change components, and maintain the network.

  • Configure switches, routers, and crypto devices.

  • Must be a US Citizen 

  • Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance 

  • CompTIA Security+ CE equivalent or higher.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts or three (3+) years of relevant experience in place of degree requirement. 

  • Experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and remote desktop (Citrix).

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Juniper network equipment.

  • Microsoft or related certification.

  • Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Brocade Certified Professional.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
