Job Title: Warehouse Order Picker

Job Description

We are a leading distributor of hydraulic hoses and small parts, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Picker to join our team long term. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders based on paper order sheets. This role is crucial to ensuring our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders according to paper order sheets.

• Verify the accuracy of orders before shipment.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.

• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret paper order sheets in English.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Able to lift and move items up to 60lbs.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience preferred but not required.

Our Branch Manager started as a contract employee 10 years ago and has worked his way up to his current position. The best part of the job is the lack of micromanaging. We provide help and training when needed but are very hands-off and encourage independence in the warehouse.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, very quiet, and laid-back. The warehouse is neat and organized, and it is slightly bigger than a basketball court. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, North Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
