Skilled Welder
Job Description
In this position, you will have the opportunity to utilize your welding and fabrication skills daily. You will be working on a variety of products such as tillage equipment, storage tanks, fertilizer spreaders, HVAC equipment for ethanol plants, and other custom metal products. This variety ensures an exciting change in tasks from week to week. Your duties will include welding on agricultural equipment with MIG welders, training on blueprints to layout products, working alongside other welders and leads to complete projects efficiently, fabricating material and cleaning up welds with a grinder, operating overhead crane as needed to move products, communicating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient product flow, and aiding in the training of new hires once you're comfortable. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional half-day Fridays. Currently, we are very busy and consistently getting 50hrs/week.
