The Absence Management Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of colleague absence programs, including short-term and long-term disability, workers compensation, FMLA, personal leave, and other related programs including reasonable accommodations. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and works to develop and implement absence management policies and procedures. The Manager will collaborate and partner with others, including the Colleague Health Services team, to ensure continuous improvement practices are in alignment with local and system-wide policies and procedures. The Manager will also provide support and guidance to colleagues and managers regarding absence issues and work to minimize the impact of absences on the organization. _Education:_ · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related discipline or minimum ten (10) years’ work experience in a similar position _Experience:_ · 3 - 5 years of experience in absence management, HR, or a related field. · Experience with FMLA, ADA, and other relevant laws and regulations. · 1 - 2 years of management or supervisory experience We take great care of careers.
