Maritz Implementation Manager in Fenton, Missouri

The Implementation Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, and management of launch tasks and resources to bring about the successful completion of client program launch goals and objectives. This person also serves as a Technical Expert for assigned Maritz Engagement Platform Solutions.

Note: This is a hybrid role, onsite 3 days per week (Tuesday through Thursday).

50% - Maintain launch calendar across multiple programs. Estimates resource requirements and allocating resources as required. Owns Pre-Sale Alignment (Sales, Engineering, Solutions and Rewards). Owns coordination between technical success teams and engineering, fulfillment teams, sales/solution design, and 3rd party vendors. Oversees the program launch plans in partnership with Maritz Client Success Manager. Ensures that ICX processes are followed in coordination with the Customer Success Manager. Schedules/Hosts Reoccurring Launch Meetings. Platform implementation specification owner. Owns the tactical project management of the platform launch, working closely with the TSS and CSM to ensure processes/tasks are aligned. Validates in UAT and Prod. Confirms Go/No-Go (Internal). Platform SME (deep platform knowledge, technical integrations, pre/post sale)

30% - Coordinates request for changes from original project scope. Updates and distributes all pertinent documentation. Facilitates effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Customizes and follows an established work plan for each phase of the project adhering to the applicable project management methodology.

20% - Manage platform launch scope and budget according to SOW. Partners with Maritz Client Success Manager to respond to client issues. Coordinating work with functional peers and monitoring / reporting on launch status and issues. Primary internal product contact during platform implementation. Partners with Client Success Manager to develop and managing project plan, tasks, timelines, milestones and deadlines. Updates project information on a timely basis using the appropriate databases or tracking systems. Prepares status reports as appropriate for the project requestor, project team and management. Escalate issues to account team and/or management and coordinates user communication needs. Identifies obstacles to success and guides the team in identifying solutions. Obtains appropriate project resources and assists in estimating time requirements for projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, PMP certification a plus

  • 4 - 6 years experience project management

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; both with internal and external customers. Excellent critical thinker and problem solver

  • Ability to manage and work effectively with multiple stakeholder groups Strong flexibility; ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities as they arise, proactive approach to risk management

  • Strong understanding of data and how to deliver insights

  • SaaS product experience, strong understanding of Agile Software development, Experience with Atlassian Products (JIRA and Confluence)

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Word
