Primary Function

Autonomous Maintenance Coordinator are responsible for driving AM activities through our expansion areas, teaching operators the AM methodology, complete self assessments on the AM machines, use WCM problem solving tools, and have oversight to improve activities. The AM Coordinator will be responsible for tracking metrics (OEE, tags, kaizens, step B/C ratio), and participate in deep cleanings of equipment in accordance to restoring machinery back to basic conditions.

  • Maintain AM activities

  • Lead and coordinate expansion areas through the seven steps of AM

  • Restoring model areas to back to basic condition

  • Must utilize WCM tools as outlined by pillar and plant road map

  • Must work a required number of hours as determined by department, shift and position.

Requirements

  • Must have High School Diploma/GED

  • Must be at least 18 years old or older

  • Experience with WCM tool usage such as completing kaizens, calculating Benefit to Cost Ratio, or working with the knowledge inventory/radar charts

  • Proficient computer skills in email, word processing and spreadsheets (Google and Microsoft)

  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks

Preferred skills and experiences

  • 6 months of manufacturing work

  • 1 year of consistent work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Past or current WCM pillar floor or core team member

  • WCM Methodologies, particularly 5S / Visual Management

  • Proven leadership abilities
