Description:

-Will be a level 3 maintenance tech

-Will be responsible for electrical maintenance on machinery and plant equipment

-Responsible for troubleshooting PLCs (they have allen bradley and automation direct) will be hooking up to a laptop to troubleshoot and doing programming on PLCs as well

-Most of the machines are molding machines -- they are older machines, machines have dies and are shaped in a big loop. Machines recycle old plastic bottles to make product

-Will be working with 480v and 3-phase motors

-Troubleshoot, repair and replace AC/DC motors and drives

-Work with pneumatics

-mechanical troubleshooting on equipment

-Perform preventative maintenance

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

1. Must have at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience

2. Must have strong electrical troubleshooting skills (looking for someone more electrical than mechanical)

3. Must have strong PLC troubleshooting experience, being able to hook up to a laptop, read ladder logic, I/O networking, Programming preferred

4. Must have experience working with AC/DC motors and drives

5. Must have 480v and 3-phase

6. Must have VFDs and servo-drives

7. Must be able to use Electrical Test equipment: Voltmeter, Ammeter, ohm meter, Megger

8. Must have steel toes
