We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Manager in the healthcare industry located in Flemington, New Jersey. This role focuses on managing the financial close and reporting for the organization, including the management of quarterly grant, DAC bond, and state governmental reporting. This is a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial close and reporting process for the organization

• Manage quarterly grant, DAC bond, and state governmental reporting processes

• Coordinate the preparation of 990s and audits

• Supervise a team of four and ensure efficient workflow

• Utilize DAC, Grant Accounting, Month End Close, and Financial Reporting skills to perform tasks

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards

• Develop strategies for improving the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Monitor financial performance and report findings to senior management.

Requirements

• Experience in Grant Accounting is essential

• Proficiency in conducting Month End Close procedures

• Demonstrated ability in Financial Reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably as an Accounting Manager
