Job Summary

Grande Cheese Company in Fond du Lac, WI is searching for our next Senior IT Engineer - Security! We are looking to hire a candidate with an analytical mind and an in-depth knowledge of security methodologies. In this role you will provide technical expertise and advice on multiple areas of security technology, including network security, platform security, authentication and authorization systems, application security, and security frameworks.

You will collaborate with different business units to champion Cyber Safety and practices best to protect data, applications, infrastructure, and processes. Scope of responsibility will include tactical based work alongside assisting in the recommendations of security strategies and policy development . What you need to be considered for the role:

  • 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or other related field required. An equivalent level of education and experience may be considered.

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of related security experience required.

  • Expertise in endpoint security software, intrusion detection, awareness and training tools, and firewalls.

  • Expertise in designing and implementing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.

  • Experience in incident response to security incidents, including conducting forensic investigations of networks and endpoints.

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), SANS certification(s), or Web Application Penetration Tester (WAPT) certification, Certification Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)

  • Demonstration of leadership and leading by example when it comes to processes and procedures.

  • Ability to relate technical concepts to non-technical people.

  • Ability to comprehend complex environments.

  • Skilled in asking inquisitive questions to help resolve issues.

  • Demonstrated technical mentoring.

  • Self-starter accustomed to working with limited supervision.

  • Strong written and organizational skills

  • Working knowledge of the following systems and tools:

  • Hardware: servers, network switches, routers, firewalls, PLC hardware

  • Software: Windows servers, Exchange, Office365, Network protocols and services, remote VPN access solutions, virtualization, Security Event Incident Management Tools (SEIM).

  • Operational Technology and SCADA Networks

  • Experience utilizing SIEM systems, threat intelligence platforms, security automation and orchestration solutions, data loss prevention (DLP), forensic investigation tools, and other network and system monitoring tools.

  • Extensive knowledge of SSO, MFA, IdP, public key infrastructure (PKI), privileged accounts and integration application program interface (API) capabilities.
