Job Title: 2nd Shift Welder
Job Description
We are a family-owned custom weld shop specializing in large structural work, with occasional one-off parts for local clients. In this role, you will work independently on a variety of projects, utilizing blueprints and weld symbols. The primary focus will be on MIG and Flux welding of steel, with material thicknesses ranging from 1/4" to several inches.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG and Flux welding on steel materials, with potential for TIG work.
Work independently on various projects, utilizing blueprints and weld symbols.
Handle materials of varying thicknesses, primarily steel.
Ensure high-quality welds and adhere to project specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
2+ years of custom welding experience utilizing MIG and Flux welding.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols.
Ability to grind and fit materials as required.

Work Environment
Work in a family-owned custom job shop with three locations in Fond du Lac. The environment includes a custom shop, structural weld shop, and a small powder coat paint shop. The shop is older and relatively dirty, with a mix of traditional 'old school' personalities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00
