Lockheed Martin Supply Technician - Logistics programs; Software & Military Doctrine in Fort Campbell North, Kentucky

Description: Operates within the guidelines of Technical Supply, Supply Support Activity (SSA), or Special Repair Activity (SRA) Operational Procedures in accordance with Service Doctrine and local requirements.

Performs Logistics processes such as, but not limited to, production control assistance, tool room assistance, requests, orders, receiving, storing, picking, issuing, shipping, turn-in, location maintenance, and inventories of items, to include PQDR and SDR supply related requirements.

Primary role and responsibility will be ordering, receiving, processing and issuing items daily along with performing inventory surveys, counts, adjustments, and location maintenance. Will require travel outside of facility to procure or deliver items throughout the work shift.

Coordinates with and guides assigned shop area Point of Contacts (POCs) for related support and inventory management requirements.

Attends the Tech Supply Support Improvement Continuity Meetings (SICM), Maintenance Management Team Meetings (MMT), Production Control Meetings (PC), and provides updated status of assigned areas, tasks, and mission.

Performs in-depth research, coordination, acquisition, and reporting for requested items or services.

Files documentation appropriately in a manner that protects and enables retrieval when requested.

Retrieves & Delivers repair parts, equipment, and miscellaneous items to and from various locations.

Maintains readiness of assigned section areas, duties, and equipment for mission support.

Keeps assigned area of responsibility clean, organized, and properly stocked.

Assists other members or sections of the LMR Team when required.

Performs packaging and preservation of parts and supplies.

Creates & Manages internal and external work orders.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be familiar with automated logistics programs

and software.

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products.

Must have the ability to research, read, and interpret technical manuals, and other established guidelines.

Motivated and have a personal desire to develop greater knowledge of their technical specialty.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to write & speak with clarity and technical accuracy.

Must be able to work and interact with team members, outside contractors, and the government community in a highly professional manner.

Must be capable of operating equipment necessary to perform job duties.

Must be willing to flex daily work schedule based on customer needs.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Capable of working with little or no guidance.

Must possess excellent organizational skills.

Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs.

Must be willing to travel.

Must be a US citizen.

Desired Skills:

Familiar with Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) Program.

Familiar with U.S. Army Logistics Policies and Procedures

Current Hazardous Materials (Shipping/Receiving) Certification.

Proficient with Aircraft Notebook (ACN) Application.

Logistics experience within the DoD.

Familiar with FedLog/WebFlis.

Previous Forklift experience.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
