Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical assembly; familiarity with composite assembly processes is preferred but not required.
Ability to interpret and comprehend blueprints and work instructions.
Capable of lifting and pushing up to 25 lbs.
Proficient in using power tools and hand tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform diverse composite assembly tasks including riveting, drilling, and bonding composite assemblies.
Refine fiberglass surfaces through deflashing, sanding, trimming, and filling.
Manage loading and unloading of molds in various equipment such as oven, press, or autoclave.
Ensure upkeep of tools, molds, fixtures, and production equipment in the Composite Assembly section.
Maintain and prepare materials for accurate log tickets.
Adhere to company standards of workmanship and quality.
Execute additional tasks as assigned by management.
Follow all safety procedures outlined by DG and Facility Engineer/Safety Director.
